Olivier Award-winning producers Joseph Smith and Michael McCabe have combined a wealth of experience across commercial and subsidised theatre in London, on Broadway and around the world.
Their joint producing credits include: Rob Ashford's hit revivals of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying (Broadway, 2011/12), which variously starred Daniel Radcliffe, Darren Criss and Nick Jonas; and Promises, Promises (Broadway, 2010) which starred Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth; Jonathan Kent's production of Sweeney Todd (West End, 2012) which starred Michael Ball and Imelda Staunton, winner of 3 Olivier Awards including "Best Musical Revival", 5 Whatsonstage.com Awards including "Best Musical Revival" and the Evening Standard Theatre Award for "Best Musical"; Million Dollar Quartet (West End, 2011) and the acclaimed musical Spring Awakening (West End, 2009), winner of 4 Olivier Awards including "Best Musical" and the Critics' Circle Award for "Best Musical".
Joseph is currently Executive Producer for Old Vic Productions (OVP) in London, where he represents the company in its role as co-producer, alongside Working Title Films, of Billy Elliot The Musical, and is Chief Executive of Stage One.
Michael is Executive Producer (UK & Ireland) of Wicked (Olivier Award, Evening Standard Theatre Award and 8 Whatsonstage.com Awards), at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre and on UK and Ireland Tour from September 2013.
