Olivier Award-winning producers Joseph Smith and Michael McCabe have combined a wealth of experience across commercial and subsidised theatre in London, on Broadway and around the world.
Their joint producing credits include: Rob Ashford's hit revivals of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying (Broadway, 2011/12), which variously starred Daniel Radcliffe, Darren Criss and Nick Jonas; and Promises, Promises (Broadway, 2010) which starred Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth; Jonathan Kent's production of Sweeney Todd (West End, 2012) which starred Michael Ball and Imelda Staunton, winner of 3 Olivier Awards including "Best Musical Revival", 5 Whatsonstage.com Awards including "Best Musical Revival" and the Evening Standard Theatre Award for "Best Musical"; Spring Awakening (West End, 2009), winner of 4 Olivier Awards including "Best Musical" and the Critics' Circle Award for "Best Musical" and
Million Dollar Quartet (West End, 2011/12).
Joseph is currently Executive Producer for Old Vic Productions (OVP) in London, where he represents the company in its role as co-producer, alongside Working Title Films, of Billy Elliot The Musical, and is Chief Executive of Stage One.
Michael is Executive Producer (UK & Ireland) of Wicked, winner of the Olivier "Audience Award", the Evening Standard Theatre Award for "Best Night Out" and 8 Whatsonstage.com Awards including "Best West End Show" and "Best New Musical"’, now in its 7th year at London's Apollo Victoria Theatre and on UK and Ireland Tour from September 2013.
